German enterprise software giant SAP (News
- Alert) AG announced a new partnership this week with Global Speech Networks (GSN), an Australia-New Zealand cloud-based contact center reseller. The partnership reinforces SAP’s commitment to the cloud and best-of-breed contact center solutions.
GSN will now offer SAP Business Communications Management (SAP BCM) in the cloud to companies throughout Australia and New Zealand.
GSN has been providing cloud-based contact center solutions to the ANZ region for 11 years.
“SAP and GSN have a shared vision for flexibility, scalability and cost predictability, and this was a major factor when it came to forming the partnership,” said Shane Verner, Sales and Marketing Director for GSN in a press release. “Cloud is undeniably the way of the future, and working with SAP to offer contact center in the cloud is a perfect fit for us and a great opportunity for existing SAP users.”
SAP Business Communication Management (BCM) provides a bundled, multichannel contact center suite designed to replace traditional communications systems hardware with a software-based IP telephony solution, helping companies improve the efficiency and performance of their contact center operations.
“SAP BCM was originally designed to fit on-demand purposes with the first of these customers going live in 2000,” said Greg Harbor, VP of on-demand solutions for SAP ANZ. “This partnership with GSN allows SAP to deliver SAP BCM in the Cloud. It will help our customers to efficiently and flexibly manage their contact centers and customer service functions,” he said.
